About Northwest Center for Oral Medicine

At Northwest Center for Oral Medicine, we specialize in Oral Medicine, a unique field bridging the gap between dentistry and general medicine. Unlike many dental specialties, our approach is primarily non-surgical. While we do perform diagnostic biopsies, small excisions, therapeutic injections, and other minor surgical interventions, many conditions we treat are managed medically using both topical and systemic medications. Additionally, we’re the go-to experts for patients with complex systemic medical issues that manifest in the mouth. When your oral health concerns extend beyond the teeth, we’re here to provide expert, comprehensive care.

Dr Olson was the only doctor who helped me my oral problem. I went to many doctors and no one knew what to do. Dr Olson knew how to treat! She is thorough and thoughtful, she is calm and reassuring. I can’t say enough good about her. I’m extremely grateful for her care

I have never had a doctor listen as well, or be as thorough as Dr. Olson was at my appointment. I have been dealing with the same issue for over a year, have seen multiple providers, and am finally receiving care that is helping. I was also super impressed with the front office staff. Before my first visit, they had already obtained records, labs and films from numerous offices in preparation for my visit. I would highly, highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Olson is an excellent medical provider who is good in communication, thoroughness, compassion, follow-up with the treatment. I never felt rushed during my appointments. I recommend Dr. Olson to anyone who wants to find a doctor who combines expertise with genuine caring of her patients.

I feel so lucky to find Northwest Oral Medicine. Dr Olsen is extremely knowledgeable in her field, caring, thorough and collaborative. She is never rushed and takes her time to explain everything and details her findings in the after visit information. She has helped with issues that multiple other doctors could not. Her staff are also very helpful and responsive.

On 4/24/2026 I had my first visit with Jasmine Olson, DDS, MSD. My dentist recommended I see an oral medicine specialist and my endodontist recommended Dr Olson. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Olson. She listened and asked questions. Did thorough exam of areas that could be contributing to my symptoms. Dr Olson then devised an initial treatment plan that I can easily follow. Looking forward to the follow up visit. I've endured 5 yrs of worsening jaw & cheek pain, headaches and double vision. It was such a relief to have a medical professional who could address all my symptoms. I'd exhausted all avenues with accupuncture and with regular dental and medical professionals, each giving options & opinions within their specialty and resulting in no lasting improvement. Dr Olson and her wonderful Office Coordinator worked with me to address frustrations with insurance. Oral medicine is not covered by dental insurance and my medical insurance has yet to approve my primary care doctor's referral. I sincerely hope insurance companies will begin to recognize how important this incredibly necessary speciality is.
